So im new with the tulpa subject and was really interested in it, But everything Im reading is sorta confusing and such for me on different forums and things. My two main questions at this moment are how does one start training/meditating to create their tulpa (like i understand the figuring out what it should look like and the traits etc) like what should you think and do. My second question is how does a tulpa look like to someone who sees them in the real world? (Im sorry for being a noob lmao, And im assuming this is the right category to message this under)
step one: narrate until you don't feel like you're talking to yourself anymore
3:00 AM
And a tulpa looks like whatever you imagine it to look like. I can't speak much because I haven't ever really done much with imposition, but the gist I have gotten from a lot of people is that it rarely goes beyond an experience similar to imagining your tulpa being there.
it's not really like a baby unless you literally try to make a baby
3:35 AM
it's like you're giving it a skeleton and letting it build on it's own off of that
3:36 AM
i'm sure a lot of people would have advice like write down some specific things but if you get too specific you'll probably just write down everything you like and effectively make yourself
3:36 AM
and almost, not all, almost every character tulpa i've ever interacted with/my tulpas have interacted with has been super miserable
3:37 AM
so it's a balance of not going too light and giving yourself/your tulpa nothing to go on, and not going too detailed and making something that hates the way it is
i dunno if it's as much of a thing anymore, but i took a little while and thought about what i would want in someone that i'd have to share a head with forever
3:45 AM
and wrote down probably too many things, but got a little list together
3:47 AM
stuff in my head is real symbolism heavy, so i kinda imagined a box representing ilia and put the things in there, and talked to her and explained what it meant and a situation or two where it might apply, if that makes sense
3:47 AM
there's so many guides with good ideas and ways on the .info site, but what it boils down to
3:47 AM
and the most important part
3:47 AM
is that you talk to the tulpa and work on in your head convincing yourself that they're there, real, and listening
3:48 AM
as far as i know she remembers most if not all of that whole thing, for what it's worth
3:48 AM
if there's any other hosts in rn or tulpas that remember that far back, mind giving squidds here some ideas?
maggie didn't even know tulpas were a thing but she pretended to have a headmate and really needed it to be true, and convinced herself i was real so i became real
the fastest way to get a tulpa to be talking and independent and developing and all is to just talk to them
3:53 AM
even if they're not talking back
3:53 AM
the whole narration thing that people throw around, could be just talking about what you're doing, some ideas you have kicking around in your head, anything
3:53 AM
describing what you're looking at that very second
